Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Fernwood home in Knowsley is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will perform daily and weekly cleaning routines across bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices, with care and attention to detail.

• Relevant care sector experience is not essential.
• Induction, buddy and ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines and ad-hoc duties.
• Clean and tidy designated areas including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
• Clean with dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming; use carpet cleaning machines as needed.
• Assist with laundry washing and drying when required.
• Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards; promote dignity and independence.
