Job summary

Richmond Village, operated by Bupa, seeks an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front of house team. You will manage rotas, recruit and develop staff, and oversee dining, bar and room service operations to deliver outstanding resident experiences.

You will plan events, build community links, and partner with marketing and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service. DBS check is required and costs covered by Bupa.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in hospitality or catering.
• Self-motivated and a great communicator; develops relationships with residents using a person-centred approach.
• Organised, flexible, professional and able to work on own initiative while leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise staff rotas to ensure effective coverage within budget.
• Lead, recruit and develop a high-performing front of house team at Richmond Villages.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional dining, bar and room service experience.
• Plan and deliver events and functions to maximise village space usage and revenue.
• Build relationships with local businesses to increase external bookings and revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote events and dining experiences; work with kitchen to ensure seamless service.
• Manage dietary, allergen and special meal requirements safely and accurately.
