Job description

As a Care Home Deputy Manager at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care for residents. Working closely with the General Manager, you will take on leadership responsibilities in their absence, ensuring care standards are met, motivating your team, and helping residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Main duties of the job

The Care Home Deputy Manager will be responsible for leading by example, monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will develop and deliver strategies to help achieve your goals, drawing on your skills and experience in managing safeguarding investigations, clinical risk assessments, HR, sales, marketing, and budget management.
