You will provide hands-on leadership, supervise staff, and coordinate shifts to maintain safe coverage while upholding CQC standards and strong safeguarding practices.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations.
• Act as the manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership during shifts.
• Ensure care delivery meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and legislative requirements.
• Monitor and update care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor care staff, promoting professional development.
• Coordinate rotas and staffing levels to maintain safe coverage.
• Handle performance management and support recruitment and induction.
• Oversee the wellbeing of residents, ensuring person-centred care.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
• Respond to complex care needs and emergencies.
• Manage medication processes and accurate record-keeping.
• Support budget monitoring and resource allocation.
• Ensure effective communication across the team and with stakeholders.
