Ann's Care Homes in Newtownabbey invites applications for a kitchen role supporting meal preparation and service for residents. You will maintain hygiene standards, monitor dietary needs, and liaise with care staff to ensure timely, varied meals.

The role requires basic IT, clear communication, and prior care home experience is preferred but not essential. Training and uniforms are provided, with regular pay cycles.

Qualificações

• Basic IT skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
• NVQ level 2 or 3 desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Revise the Homes menu on a regular basis as per policy.
• Prepare meals at an agreed time and ensure timely distribution.
• Keep kitchen hygienically clean at all times and follow HACCP.
• Monitor dietary requirements and accommodate residents.
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff and oversee execution.
• Report equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and keep records.
• Follow food hygiene regulations and ensure proper storage and labelling.
• Participate in induction and in-service training.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions when required.
