Job summary

Prime Life is based at Mill House in Fakenham, Norfolk, supporting 31 residents with a range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health needs that require patient and respectful care. The Cook role demands empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents’ daily lives.

You will prepare meals, plan menus, ensure food safety, and assist with service to offer a dignified dining experience.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Experience as a Cook; training support provided by Prime Life.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Undertaking quality checks on food prepared and stored.
• Planning menus to suit residents' preferences and requirements.
• Assisting with food service to provide a dignified dining experience for residents.
• Maintaining stock records and ordering stock according to policy.
• Maintaining a hygienic and tidy kitchen and assisting with deep cleaning tasks.
