White House Care Home in the United Kingdom is seeking a Domestic Assistant on a contract basis. You will ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, handling cleaning of rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and supporting laundry services. Attention to hygiene and infection control is essential.

We offer an hourly rate of £12.71, paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks for full-time equivalent, and a supportive team in a values-led workplace committed to dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.

• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life. You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
