Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Chef to plan and provide daily nutritious meals for residents at Glebe Farm Learning Disability Care Home. You will work to budget, maintain health and safety standards, and inspire the kitchen team.

Role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive, people-centered environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
• Knowledge of nutrition and ability to develop meals meeting dietary needs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prepare daily menus meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Prepare meals that are appetising, visually appealing, and within budget.
• Monitor food stocks and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of food orders and inventory.
• Ensure all food is stored, prepared and served hygienically.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in food prep and service.
• Implement health and safety procedures, including proper handling and storage.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, with regular deep cleaning.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families, respond to feedback.
