Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. in Warminster is seeking a hands-on kitchen supervisor to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner while leading Kitchen Assistants and Hosts. You will uphold food safety standards and assist with stock ordering in a busy catering setting.

The role requires a 40-hour weekly rota, strong teamwork and communication, and strict COSHH/health and safety compliance. You may step in for the Chef Manager during absences and benefit from on-going career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment, preferably in elderly care.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, COSHH and Manual Handling.
• Able to work a 40-hour weekly rota and perform physical tasks safely.
• Good communication and team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast, lunch, and supper according to menu specifications and order sheets.
• Prepare baked items for the coffee shop and cater private dining requests as needed.
• Supervise Kitchen Assistants and Hosts, ensuring food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are met.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly due diligence records and assist with stock ordering.
• Ensure compliance with COSHH, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Cover for the Chef Manager during periods of absence.
