KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking experienced Care Home Chefs for positions across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Whether you want a few shifts weekly or full-time temporary work, we offer regular assignments to fit your availability.

You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals, meet dietary requirements, and adhere to food safety standards while delivering high-quality service in care home environments.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience in care homes or high-volume catering.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience cooking for large groups and catering for older residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
• Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
• Cater for dietary needs including allergies, diabetic diets, vegetarian, vegan and texture-modified meals.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Complete daily food safety checks and follow HACCP procedures.
