Job Role

As the Head Chef, you will run the heart of the home, ensuring our residents enjoy delicious, fresh, and safe meals every day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Menu Design: Creating varied, balanced menus that incorporate fresh, seasonal ingredients and cater to modified, diabetic, low-fat, and religious dietary requirements.
• Kitchen Leadership: Preparing, cooking, and serving meals while supervising, mentoring, and training junior kitchen staff.
• Budget and Stock Control: Managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and keeping purchases strictly within the allocated budget.
• Compliance and Hygiene: Ensuring the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and safety are met, including conducting and recording daily fridge, freezer, and food temperature checks.
• Community: Catering for special events, celebrations, and theme days within the home.
