We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to join the team at a medium-sized, award-winning care home in Redditch. This role is 100% site-based, and you will assist in the smooth running of operations, providing full administrative support to the home manager and other departments. You will also be the friendly face dealing directly with visitors, healthcare providers, and family members.

Salary: £13.79 - £14.21 Per Hour

This role is initially temporary, with the possibility of permanent employment after the qualifying period.

Hours of Work:
  • 5 days out of 7
  • Alternate weekend working required
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email, and post, including doctors, support workers, and residents' families.
  • Ensure all correspondence is responded to promptly and escalated when necessary.
  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork for new staff and assist with administrative tasks related to rotas, payroll, and other internal processes.
  • Greet visitors and monitor the reception area.
  • File, scan, and manage documents.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support across departments.
About You:
  • Enhanced DBS check with Adult Workforce.
  • Experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting; knowledge of care/residential home processes is a plus.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Calm, professional, and personable, as you will be dealing with vulnerable individuals.
  • Own transport.
