Orchard Care Homes is seeking an experienced Care Home Administrator for Chatsworth Lodge in Chesterfield. You will act as the first point of contact for residents, families and staff, and support HR, payroll and finance teams while handling rostering and contracts within a regulated setting.

The role requires strong literacy and numeracy, ability to work under pressure, and collaboration within a team. Full-time hours, 40 per week, with a competitive hourly rate and DBS clearance is noted.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative to achieve goals.
• Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise workload.

Care Home Administrator

Chatsworth Lodge are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role within our home.

Salary: £14.71 per hour

Schedule/Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

As a Care Home Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for Residents, their family members and representatives, the home management and colleagues in addition to HR, payroll and the finance teams. You will work with a range of computer systems, ensuring all information is captured in an accurate and compliant manner.

About the candidate:

• Previous experience within a similar role is desirable.
• Able to work both as part of a team and under own initiative to achieve goals.
• The ability to perform under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of operating rostering and payroll systems.
• General understanding of contracts and their importance in a regulated setting.
• Knowledge of HR processes (this is a significant advantage).
