Job summary

Splendid Care, part of Splendid Hospitality Group, seeks a Care Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting and commercial performance across our growing care business. Based at the Warnham head office 3–4 days a week, with regular visits to care homes, you will partner with operational leaders to ensure robust financial control and drive occupancy and profitability.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Significant financial control experience within care, healthcare or multi-site environments.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Commercial acumen with ability to influence business performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/reporting systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting across our care business.
• Partner with Operations Directors and Home Managers to provide commercial insight that drives occupancy and profitability.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, cash flow, balance sheet and KPI analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through cost management.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.
• Build trusted relationships translating financial data into actionable insight.
