Job summary

Oakminster Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Chef/Cook to prepare nutritionally balanced meals across five Glasgow care communities. The role requires understanding residents’ preferences, dietary needs, and textures, while maintaining high hygiene and allergen controls.

You will collaborate with nursing and care teams to deliver enjoyable dining experiences that support residents’ health and wellbeing, across Florence House, Chester Park, Cumbrae House, Oakview Manor and Oakbridge.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for adults in care settings.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and texture-modified diets.
• Ability to work across multiple care communities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present fresh, nutritionally balanced meals.
• Know residents’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Support menu planning and themed dining events.
