At Beluga Rox, we are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator in a beautiful office in Kendal.

Our client is rated among the top 20 homecare providers in the UK for the last 5 years by their clients, a testament to the work of their amazing care teams. They are a family-owned company, operating with family values at the core.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to become a key member of our client's well-established, dynamic Home Care team providing Complex Care, Complex Mental Health, and Domiciliary Care in Kendal.

The Role....

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to schedule and coordinate all care visits, acting as the first point of contact for carers, clients, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure continuity of care, promote services through face-to-face and telephone communication, arrange and conduct care reviews, and provide guidance and support to the care team.
  • Handle general office administration tasks and participate in on-call management on a rota basis.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, the office team, and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of care on digital systems.
  • Manage workforce activities to meet client needs.
  • Serve as a link between clients, care teams, and other parties.
  • Uphold the reputation of the provider as a quality care service.
  • Participate in on-call duties and deliver emergency care if required.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and across the organization as needed.
  • Coordinate complex training and assessments with nursing teams.

What you need for this role......

  • Must have a valid driving license and own vehicle, as travel is involved.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or higher.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for excellence.
  • Experience in delivering personal care, ideally in community/home settings with complex care.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Highly independent and organized.
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Excel and Word.
  • Empathetic, caring, and a good communicator.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills.
