Home Instead in Kent is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home care for older adults. Each visit lasts at least an hour, focusing on safety, dignity and companionship. You'll help with personal care, meal prep, mobility and light housework while respecting independence.

Evening shifts 16:00-22:00 and alternate weekends. Full training, pension support, and staff appreciation are offered; mileage allowance of £0.35 per mile. You don't need previous experience.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a car
• Clear English and good communication skills
• A warm, patient and caring nature

Responsabilités

• Provide respectful personal care (washing, showering, bathing, dressing, hygiene) while maintaining dignity and independence
• Support mobility and safe movement around the home
• Prepare meals, snacks and hot drinks
• Help with light household tasks to keep home safe and comfortable
• Offer companionship, conversation and a friendly face
• Support with medication reminders and other health-related tasks

At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters - helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued. You'll be supporting older adults with things like:

• Providing respectful personal care, such as helping with washing, showering, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, while always maintaining dignity and independence
• Supporting with mobility and helping clients move around their home safely
• Preparing meals, snacks and hot drinks
• Helping with light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
• Offering companionship, conversation and a friendly face
• Supporting with medication reminders and other health-related tasks where appropriate
  No Experience? No Problem!

  Home Instead are looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across Folkestone and Hythe, Kent.

You'll be required to work Evenings 16:00-22:00 and alternate Weekends. £14.25-£15.70/hr + 35p per mile
