Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join The Belvedere in Alderley Edge. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) with occasional evenings and weekends. You will support residents with daily living, promoting dignity and comfort in a warm, compassionate home.

We value kindness, reliability and teamwork; previous care experience is a bonus but attitude and values matter most. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks while safeguarding dignity.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care as needed.
• Support residents with limited mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents who are confused or may display behaviours.
• Record care plans and daily notes per policies.
• Engage residents in activities and social events.
