Highgate Care Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Allingham House Care Centre in Stockport. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) involves evenings and weekends and pays £13.51 per hour.

A warm, patient-focused professional with team leadership experience will thrive in our small, compassionate care group. You’ll help residents with daily living, support junior staff, monitor mobility, maintain dignity, and participate in social activities.

Qualifikationen

• Warm, approachable and positive attitude.
• Organised, reliable, confident in leading a team.
• NVQ level 3 or willingness to pursue it as part of career progression.

Aufgaben

• Support residents with daily living to maintain highest care standards.
• Train and supervise junior staff and new team members.
• Assist residents with care needs while preserving dignity and comfort.
• Aid residents with mobility and use of aids where needed.
• Monitor residents who are confused or display behavioural issues.
• Support continence and personal care as appropriate.
• Assist with end-of-life care and last offices when required.
• Complete care plans and write daily records in line with policies.
• Facilitate social activities and resident hobbies in the Home.
• Answer nurse call, door and telephone with timely responses.
• Report well-being to GPs and Support Managers as needed.
