Job summary

Pottersway Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a friendly Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans to ensure safe, dignified, person-centred care in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition.
• Support residents to feel comfortable, respected and valued.
• Work as part of a team to create a warm, positive environment.
• Open to training and ongoing development.
• Be flexible to work alternate weekends.
