Job summary

Bluebird Care Pontypool is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team covering Torfaen borough areas. You will support customers in their own homes with daily living activities, provide personal care and companionship, and work 7am–3pm with alternating weekends.

We offer paid shadowing shifts, guaranteed hours after probation, full induction and ongoing training, career progression opportunities, monthly staff awards and a Blue Light Card.

Qualifications

A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
To be aged 18+.
Ability to work alternate weekends.
Ability to work the stated shift pattern.

Responsibilities

Providing essential personal care and companionship.
Assisting with meal prep, shopping and household tasks.
Supporting with medication management.
Encouraging independence to help customers stay in their own homes.
Promoting customer health and well-being.
PAID shadowing shifts.
Guaranteed Hours Contracts available after probation.
Full induction and ongoing expert training.
