Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a Care Assistant to cover Caerphilly Borough with part-time hours, 7am–3pm and alternate weekends. You will provide personal care, companionship, and support with daily tasks in customers' homes, promoting independence and wellbeing.

The role offers induction, ongoing training, paid shadowing shifts, and potential progression with a friendly team. DBS checks and references are in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18+.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Ability to work alternate weekends and shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential personal care and companionship.
• Assist with meal prep, shopping and household tasks.
• Support with medication management.
• Encourage independence to help customers stay at home.
