Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd is recruiting Care Assistants to provide personal care and support for adults across our care settings. You will assist with daily routines, maintain dignity, and help with domestic tasks while following health and safety standards and record keeping requirements.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles with a rotating shift pattern, including early/late shifts and alternate weekends. Commuting distance is considered; visa sponsorship is not available, and you must have the

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal care duties including toileting, washing and transfer/hoisting and manual handling as required.
• Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and Laundry.
• Support clients in a way that maintains dignity and privacy.
• Maintain essential record keeping with brief notes on individual client records.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements for manual handling, transfer hoisting, infection control and PPE use.
• Work within the Gold Standards Framework.
• There are full-time and part-time positions available; rota includes early and late shifts and alternate weekends.

Job description

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
• There are full-time and part time positions available .
• The successful candidates will be required to work a rota that includes early and late shifts, as well as alternate weekends.
