Care Dorset Limited is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support adults in a residential or community setting. You will provide personal care, assist with everyday activities, and help maintain clients’ quality of life with respect and empathy.

You will work a 35-hour week on a rota including early/late shifts and alternate weekends. The role requires the ability to perform manual handling, comply with H&S guidelines, and commit to ongoing training and development.

• Ability to maintain dignity and privacy for clients.

• Record brief notes on individual client records as part of routine documentation.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements for manual handling, transfers and PPE.

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
• There are two full-time positions available (35 hours per week). The successful candidates will be required to work a rota that includes early and late shifts, as well as alternate weekends.
