Job summary

Cera Care in Scotland is seeking a Community Carer (Reablement) to support people recently discharged from hospital at home. You will assist with personal care, meals and medications, visiting clients across Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, St Andrews, Newport-on-Tay, Auchtermuchty and surrounding areas.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. We offer flexible shifts, DBS, uniform, pension, and clear career progression via industry qualifications supported by Cera.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing care in persons' homes is preferred.
  • Demonstrated compassion and reliability in supporting others.
  • Must have right to work in the UK and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, meals and medications for clients.
  • Visit clients in their homes across the service area.
  • Support patients who recently left hospital to recover at home.

The Role:

The service is a Fife wide service and covers Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, St Andrews, Newport-on-Tay, Auchtermuchty and everywhere in between, where you will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, you require a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Your role is powered by Cera Tech - our predictive technology that reduces admin and helps prevent hospitalisations, so you can focus on caring.

With flexible shifts available across mornings, days, evenings and nights, plus every other weekend off, we aim to support a positive work life balance.

Registration:

In Scotland, all care staff register with the SSSC. You must maintain registration and work towards your SVQ2 (funded by Cera; SVQ registration fee payable by employee).
