Job summary

Randolph Hill Nursing Homes in Dunblane near Stirling is seeking an outstanding Care Assistant to join our team. You will provide professional care to residents, upholding dignity and residents’ rights while working under the supervision of the Home Manager.

The role offers an excellent pay rate (£14.32–£17.14 per hour) with overtime at time + 33% and a comprehensive benefits programme including enhanced sick pay and a stakeholder pension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year care experience in elderly settings (nursing home, hospital or community).
• Student nurses will be considered.
• SVQ 3 essential for Principal Carer level with team leadership experience.
• Experience with elderly people and knowledge of dementia.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical care to residents in the home.
• Lead and support the Home Manager in daily operations.
• Promote highest standards of care within the facility.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and choice.
• Maintain accurate records and report injuries or concerns.
