We are currently seeking compassionate and committed Care Assistants to join our dynamic Care Team at Middlefields House, a newly built, state-of-the-art facility caring for 48 residents. View our home here.

We provide 24/7 care and support for our residents, including those who are older or unwell, and are looking for both day and night staff to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, professional care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing.
• Support residents with eating and drinking.
• Build relationships with residents to offer comfort, assistance, and reassurance.
• Respect and treat residents as individuals with unique needs.
• Maintain residents' dignity and respect.
• Encourage independence and community participation among residents.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as tidying, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support residents at the end of life.

About you:

• You should enjoy working with older people and have empathy for them.
• You must be able to work effectively in a team and be willing to undertake any task to provide excellent care.
• You should be well-organized, adaptable, and practical.
• Experience in care provision and understanding of dementia are essential.

Hours:

Part-time: 20 hours per week, including alternating weekends.

Shift hours: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
