Job summary

Visiting Angels North Hertfordshire is seeking caring Home Care Assistants for part‑time or full‑time roles in North Hertfordshire. You will help adults stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes with minimum 1‑hour visits.

Full training is provided. A driver with a reliable car is required, and sponsorship is not available. Pay ranges per hour and mileage/travel time are included, with shifts across several local areas.

At Visiting Angels North Hertfordshire, we are looking for caring, reliable people to join us in a part‑time or full‑time role supporting adults in their own homes. Pay: £13.25–£19.88 per hour
+Mileage: 35p per mile
+Paid Travel Time between clients: at NMV

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most — their own home. Your visits may include:

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines
• Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks
• Providing medication prompts
• Supporting with shopping, errands, or local outings

You will never be rushed — our minimum 1-hour visits allow you to give thoughtful, meaningful support and build genuine relationships.
