Job summary

Visiting Angels North Hertfordshire is seeking caring Home Care Assistants for part‑time or full‑time roles in North Hertfordshire. You will help adults stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes with minimum 1‑hour visits.

Full training is provided. A driver with a reliable car is required, and sponsorship is not available. Pay ranges per hour and mileage/travel time are included, with shifts across several local areas.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and a reliable car.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship).
• Full training provided; no prior care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and help with light household tasks.
• Provide medication prompts and reminders.
• Support with shopping, errands or local outings.
