Job summary

Visiting Angels North Hertfordshire is seeking a Weekend Home Care Assistant (drivers only) to visit clients in their own homes across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage, Hitchin, Baldock, Letchworth and Biggleswade. The role is part-time with hourly pay between £13.75 and £19.88 plus travel time and mileage, and includes paid travel time, training and loyalty rewards.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most — their own home. Your visits may include:

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines
• Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks
• Supporting with shopping, errands, or local outings

You will never be rushed — ourminimum 1-hour visitsallow you to give thoughtful, meaningful support and build genuine relationships.
