Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Care Assistant in Ammanford SA18 2DR, delivering emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No prior experience is required as full training will be given, but the right values are essential.

This role will include night shifts and immediate or September/October starts. We offer varied hours (22.5–45 per week), access to QCF Level 2 training after probation, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Higher rate for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates.
• Role includes night shifts.
• Driving preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assist with daily living tasks incl. personal care, meals, medications.
• Promote independence and wellbeing through activities.
• Work autonomously while ensuring safety and respect.
• Comply with Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales standards.
• Rotas include early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.
