Job summary

A caring role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in North Kesteven. The Care Assistant will support residents with daily activities, read and act on care plans, and uphold confidentiality to ensure consistent, person-centered care.

The role involves assisting with mobility, hygiene and dressing, and reporting any changes or hazards. Training and development are provided to support resident independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Understand and provide the requirements for normal health and insights into effects on the client and family when continued care is needed.
• Assist the client in daily care needs which they would normally undertake themselves if able.
• Participate in holistic caring activities.
• Care for all clients’ needs to optimise independence.
• Read and act on Care Plans to promote continuity of care.
• Understand the right of the individual to confidentiality.
• Moving and handling, dressing, and assisting residents in daily hygiene and dressing needs.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition.
• Report to Senior staff any hazard or unsafe equipment that may be injurious to health and safety of staff, residents, and visitors.
• Attend in-service training arranged as part of staff development and mandatory training, which is a legal requirement.
