Evermore Care is seeking a compassionate Night Care Assistant for Ashton Manor in Lancaster. You will deliver person-centred support to elderly residents, with a focus on dignity, comfort, and safety during night shifts.

The role is full-time, 38.5 hours per week, on a rolling two-week rota. You must have Right to Work in the UK for at least 18 months and be willing to work in a care environment that values wellbeing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in dementia or residential care settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Night Care Assistant

Salary

£13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour

Hours

Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
