Evermore Care Homes is seeking a compassionate Day Care Assistant for Ashton Manor, Lancaster. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern, supportive environment.

Day Care Assistant

Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire

Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

To ensure consistency in our care delivery, applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date. Main Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
