Job summary

Rosebery Manor Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare Group Ltd, is hiring a Night-shift Care Assistant. The role focuses on personal care for residents, including hygiene support, recognizing clinical risks such as falls, pressure sores and infection, and escalating issues promptly.

No prior experience is required as induction and training are provided. You will join a supportive care team, follow safe working practices, and help promote dignity and independence.

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection
• Escalate identified risks in a timely manner
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality
• Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks
