Jewish Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our care team. This role focuses on building relationships, providing person-centred support, and helping residents feel valued each day.

You'll assist with personal care, meals, activities, and wellbeing, working a two-week rolling rota of 12-hour night shifts (8pm–8am), averaging 42 hours weekly. No prior care experience required; a compassionate, reliable, and learning mindset is valued.

Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Night Care Assistant to join our Care team.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. You’ll get to know each resident as an individual—what matters to them, what makes them smile—and tailor your support to help them live well.

Working pattern

You’ll work on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: 4 night shifts
• Week 2: 3 night shifts
• 12-hour shifts (8pm–8am), including some weekends
• Average of 42 hours per week
