Evermore Care Homes is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Astley View, Chorley. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night shifts and work as part of a supportive team.

The role is full-time (38.5 hours per week) with 8pm–8am shifts on a two-week rolling rota. Experience in adult social care and a commitment to confidentiality are preferred; Right to Work in the UK is required. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience (either personal or work-based) within adult social care.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Night Care Assistant

Location: Astley View, Chorley

Salary: £13.45 per hour and overtime paid at £14.95 per hour, equivalent £26,926pa

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8pm - 8am shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

To ensure consistency in our care delivery, applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date.
