Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistant (Days) to join Astley View, our state-of-the-art, luxury care home in Chorley. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern environment, with 38.5 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota from 8am to 8pm.

This role offers real opportunities for development within a supportive team, with training and ongoing learning as a core part of daily work.

• Previous experience (personal or work-based) within adult social care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Day Care Assistant

Location: Chorley, Lancashire

Service: Astley View Care Home

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.45 per hour + Overtime £14.95 per hour

Hours: 38.5 hours per week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday


• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment, across our brand new community.
