Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Night-shift Care Assistant at Middleton Lodge Care Home. You will support residents with personal care, protect their independence and dignity, and help maintain a safe, caring environment.

Full induction and training are provided. A DBS check and proof of right to work are required, with the DBS cost met by the employer.

No prior experience is needed, as comprehensive induction will prepare you for the role and future career progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support residents with hygiene while maintaining independence and dignity
• Recognise clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infection
• Escalate identified risks in a timely manner
• Be courteous to residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity
• Practice safe work methods across tasks
• Support the care team to keep services running smoothly
