Job summary

SPRINGCARE LTD is hiring carers to join our team in providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents in the community. You will help with daily tasks, support wellbeing and engage residents in activities to improve quality of life.

Successful applicants will have two written references, DBS clearance (standard/enhanced as required) and the right to work in the UK. We offer training and career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Job description

Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident's physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
• compassion, sensitivity and understanding
• a desire to help people
• people skills and excellent communication skills
• patience and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure
• to be thorough and pay attention to detail
• to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
