Job summary

Spire Homecare is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients at home, promoting dignity and independence. The role includes personal care, mobility support, and helping with daily routines in clients' own homes.

We offer paid training, mileage, full support from management, monthly staff lottery, and funded Level 2 & 3 in Social Care. Availability on mornings and various shifts is required, with a UK driving licence and car essential.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence is required and a car is preferred for travel between client homes.
• Available to start at 07:00 in the mornings and work Morning/Lunch/Evening shifts.
• Must complete mandatory care training and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care including undressing, washing, bathing and toileting.
• Support mobility and independence, manage continence, and use of assistive devices.
• Maintain dignity and individual care plans, document notes and attend meetings as directed.
• Provide end-of-life and mental/physical wellbeing support as needed.
• Read/write reports, participate in training activities, and administer medications when trained.
