Job summary

Home Instead Swindon is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care across Swindon, Highworth and Vale of White Horse, with continuity of clients and consistent hours.

We offer continuous training, development and strong support through our Care Skills Academy, a UK driving licence required, and progression opportunities. Enjoy a stable income with contracted hours and a trusted team behind you.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable to client needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Swindon and Vale of White Horse.
• Aged 18+.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care including personal care and medication.
• Prepare and encourage hot meals and hydration.
• Offer companionship, reassurance and meaningful conversations.
• Help with light household tasks as needed.
• Adapt to different clients and home environments.
• Support other Care Professionals with visits and competencies.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care including:

• Supporting with personal care and medication
• Preparing and encouraging hot meals and hydration
• Offering companionship, reassurance, and meaningful conversation
• Helping with light household tasks
• Confidently adapting to different clients and home environments
• Support new and current Care Professional's within their role with support visits and competencies
