Job summary

Northcare (Scotland) Ltd. in Glasgow is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to join Northcare Residences Glasgow. The role is permanent, full-time, with a rota across 7 shifts in a 14-day period and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, meals, hydration, companionship, and maintaining care records. Training is provided; right to work in the UK is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient approach to care delivery.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Previous care experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support to residents
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
• Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
