Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist a client in Lichfield with MS and mental health needs. The role involves personal care, mobility support, medication administration, and community access, with a full UK driving licence essential.

You will join a nurse-led team delivering person-centred care. Hours are part-time, bank, permanent, with a pay range of £12.71–£14.29 per hour depending on shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
• Experience with complex needs desirable.
• Autonomous, reliable approach.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and catheter care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement with equipment.
• Administer medications per care plan.
• Support daily living activities: meals, shopping, light housekeeping.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and promote independence.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to senior staff.
