Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is recruiting Support Workers to provide complex, person-centred care in clients' homes in Stafford (ST19). Roles include live-in placements (4 on/4 off) and may include access to adapted vehicles; pay includes £143.13 per day plus a £10 daily food allowance.

Responsibilities cover personal care, mobility support, medication assistance, meal prep, and safeguarding health and wellbeing. Strong English, DBS, and UK driving licence are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ months UK care experience (essential)
• Enhanced DBS required or willingness to obtain one
• Strong spoken and written English
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Caring, patient and reliable demeanor
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and drinking
• Support with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
• Assist with medication administration and seizure management where required
• Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping
• Encourage independence, companionship, and community engagement
• Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and internal teams
