Job summary

Waters Edge Care Home in Great Wyrley is seeking Care Assistants to deliver person-centred residential and nursing care for our residents. A valid driving licence is helpful but not required, and full training will be provided. The Waters Edge team values compassion, reliability and a collaborative approach to care.

We offer competitive pay (£12.71 per hour), Day/Night shifts, and a supportive work environment with ongoing training, revalidation support and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents at all times.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting and eating.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence and choice.
• Assist residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life and wellbeing.
• Support residents who require additional assistance or are unable to manage independently.
• Assist with serving meals and supporting residents during mealtimes where required.
• Work collaboratively alongside Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and in accordance with operating procedures.
• Follow all health and safety, infection prevention and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute positively to team morale and support colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
