Job summary

Kinly Care Homes is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for Lakeview Days/Nights at the Lakeview Care Home in Walsall. The role involves providing person-centred care to residents and supporting daily living activities within a compassionate team.

You will join a caring environment with full training offered; previous care experience is desirable but not essential. The position offers day and night shifts on a permanent basis and a competitive hourly rate of £12.71.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents at all times.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting, and eating.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and choice.
• Assist residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life and wellbeing.
• Support residents who require additional assistance or are unable to manage independently.
• Assist with serving meals and supporting residents during mealtimes where required.
• Work collaboratively with Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and in line with procedures.
• Follow health, safety, infection prevention and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute positively to team morale and support colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
