Job summary

Right at Home Central Wiltshire is recruiting Care Assistants to provide person-centred home care, with shifts 7:00–15:00 or 15:00–22:30 and alternate weekends.

No prior care experience is required as full training and coaching are provided, including NVQ options, paid classroom time, and shadowing. We offer competitive hourly rates, travel time, mileage allowance, holidays, pension and clear paths for career progression.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate by nature, with empathy for clients.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and readiness to learn and develop.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle are required.
• Availability for 7:00–15:00 or 15:00–22:30 shifts and alternate weekends.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in clients' homes, including washing, dressing and bathing.
• Assist with meals, medications, shopping and appointments.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Support mobility, light housekeeping, and safety at home.
• Promote independence and dignity during daily activities.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in training and NVQ progression opportunities.
