Job summary

Universal Care Services is seeking caring Care Assistants to support clients in their daily living at home across West Northamptonshire. You will assist with meal prep, medication prompts and general domestic tasks, while providing companionship and encouraging client involvement in care planning.

Flexible shift patterns, development opportunities including NVQ qualifications, and a supportive team environment await you. Prior care experience is not required, and all backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring individuals.
• Full UK driving licence, own car, and business insurance are essential.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.
• Experienced & non-experienced carers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in daily life, e.g. meal prep, medication prompts, and domestic support.
• Assisting clients with personal care.
• Providing companionship and encouragement.
• Encouraging clients to participate in planning and provision of care.
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately.
• Supporting clients with reablement to regain confidence after illness or discharge.
