Job summary

Universal Care Services is offering a community-based care assistant role across Swaffham, Narborough, Foulden, Sporle, Necton and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting clients with daily living tasks, personal care, companionship, and coordinated care planning.

We provide structured shifts, a pro-rata 20 days holiday, training including NVQ qualifications funded from day one, a company phone, DBS check, and a refer-a-friend scheme. Driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and compassionate individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance are essential.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.
• Right to work in the UK – must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in daily life: meal prep, medication prompts, and domestic support.
• Assisting clients with personal care.
• Providing companionship and encouragement.
• Encouraging clients to participate in planning and care provision.
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately.
